Side Effects of Sustanon 250

Sustanon 250 is a combination of four esters; two short term ester and two long term esters. This composition makes Sustanon a fast acting steroid which remains active in the body for a longer period of time. Sustanon 250 gives superior lean muscle mass and dramatic strength gain to the user.

Being a strong anabolic and androgenic steroid, Sustanon 250 exhibits some serious side effects. Hair loss is a common side effect of Sustanon 250. Hair loss occurs   because the follicles of the hair shrink and with time become dead. In males, male pattern baldness occurs while women experience alopecia (bald patches) and thinning of hair. Oily skin and steroid acne are other side effects of Sustanon 250. Steroid acne generally occurs  in males and spreads on the chest, back, shoulders and arms. Face and neck may also be affected by steroid acne.

The user also goes through mood swings such as depression, irritability and anxiety. The aggression level in the body increases as well, making the user more hostile. Users of Sustanon 250 have also noticed an increase in the sexual drive.

Side Effects in Men

Sustanon 250 has some rather harsh side effects; the male users of Sustanon 250 may suffer from gynocomastia, testicular atrophy and loss of natural testosterone hormones in the body.

Gynocomastia the side effect of Sustanon 250 occurs due to aromatization. In aromatization, the testosterones in the body are converted to estrogens. Estrogens are female sex hormones which produce feminity in women. Estrogen get attached with the breast tissues and get deposited at the breasts thus causing abnormal sweeling of breasts, this condition is called gynocomastia or in layman term, bitch tits.  Gynocomastia can be controlled if anti-estrogen drugs are taken along with steroid.

Another side effect of Sustanon 250 is that it causes testicular atrophy in men. In testicular atrophy the size of the testicle shrinks. It can lower the sperm count drastically and cause impotency in men. Sustanon 250 also lowers the natural production of testosterones in the body. Testosterones are the male sex hormones produced naturally in the body. When the body gets testosterones from other sources, it shuts down the natural production of testosterones in the body. The situation aggravates when the body stops producing testosterones on its own and the user stops taking steroids.

Side Effects in Women

Virilization in women is another side effect of Sustanon 250. In Virilization, women acquire male traits. Steroids cause the number of testosterones in the body to increase. As testosterones are male sex hormones, women develop excess growth of hair on the face and the body. The voice undergoes changes as well because the vocal chords thicken causing the voice to become hoarse. Women users also experience shrinking of breasts while the clitoris becomes large. Loss of fertility may occur in severe cases. The menstrual cycle becomes infrequent and at times stops altogether.

Though steroids are taken for performance and size enhancement, the long term use can cause serious problems some of which are irreversible.
